Two practical ways to continue from SXM to Anguilla
After landing at Princess Juliana International Airport, travellers normally continue either by road to the Marigot Ferry Terminal for the scheduled public ferry or by a reserved boat transfer operating from the airport area. The best fit depends on your flight arrival time, immigration and baggage time, traffic, party size and the day’s marine conditions.
Option 1 · SXM → Marigot → public ferry
- Clear immigration and collect baggage at SXM.
- Travel by taxi or transfer across to Marigot on the French side.
- Buy the public-ferry ticket at the terminal and complete departure formalities.
- Cross to Blowing Point, Anguilla, then continue by taxi, rental car or arranged pickup.
The scheduled Marigot departures currently run ten times daily, from 8:30 AM through 6:00 PM. The crossing is approximately 20 minutes and a passport is required.
Option 2 · reserved airport boat transfer
A reserved airport boat transfer removes the road trip to Marigot and can be useful for some arrivals. Prices and operating times differ by provider, so 264Go treats this as a separate option rather than assuming it is always cheaper or faster.
Use the planner rather than guessing
264Go’s arrival planner works forward from your scheduled arrival time, adds an immigration and baggage allowance, and compares the connection against the published ferry timetable. It is a planning aid, not a guarantee of a connection.
